Welcome to the Associated Students of UC Davis CHL (Community Housing Listing) Home Page. CHL is a service offered to UCD students and other Davis community members through the ASUCD Student Services Office. For a nominal fee, anyone can add a listing to the CHL database, and everyone can view our listings either online or at the ASUCD Student Services Office. For more detailed information on CHL, check out the links above. Thanks for visiting our site.
Services
CHL maintains a database of off-campus housing listings for the Davis community. This database is accessible through the World Wide Web and also in binders kept at the ASUCD Student Services Office. We also sell Davis Model Leases, Davis maps, Model Inventory & Inspection forms, Sublease Agreements, Lease Attachments for houses & duplexes, and Security Deposit Accounting forms.
There are four types of postings available:
Roommate Wanted-A connecting point for those looking to fill up their house or apartment and those needing a place to live.
Apartment/Condo-Look here if you are interested in renting or subleasing an Apartment or Condo by yourself or with roommates.
House/Duplex-Look here if you are interested in renting or subleasing a house or duplex by yourself or with roommates.
Room in a Private Home-Families and homeowners often rent a room to students. Most of these include kitchen and house privileges.
Category Definitions
House - Renting entire house
Apartment - Renting entire apartment
Roommate - Current renter looking for additional roommates
Room in a Private Home - Homeowner renting per room
Costs
Viewing our database online and searching through our hard copies are free services. To add a listing, you may either come in to our office or click one of the buttons to the left of this text.

Fee Calculator
We will keep your posting active for one month, starting at the date of payment. If you renew your listing before the expiration date, the Renewal fee applies. Renewing the listing after the expiration date costs the same as adding a New listing. The Renewal limit is 6 months from the original posting date. We accept cash or check. Currently, we do not accept ATM or credit cards.
*To receive the Student rate, a UCD Reg Card must be shown.
When paying by mail, please include a copy of your

CHL is maintained by the ASUCD Student Services Office, located on the third floor of the Memorial Union in Room 347 on the UCD campus in Davis, CA. We are open from 8:00 to 5:00 Pacific time Monday through Friday. Feel free to stop in during those hours. You can also call us at:

Location
We are located in Davis, California in room 347 Memorial Union on the UC Davis campus. This is the same building that houses the UCD Bookstore and Coffee House.(We are on the third floor of the building.)
