Hello, I am seeking an individual to join me and two other folks who value a semi-cooperative, amicable household focused around mutual respect, open communication, and clear household responsibilities. Graduate students and professionals are welcome and applicants should be aware that two cats are currently at the house in case allergies are a problem. About the Place: One room for rent in a spacious 4 bedroom/ 2 bath house located in a quiet east Davis neighborhood one block from the North Davis Nugget. The house has shared spaces which include: a kitchen with east facing dining area; large common room with a fireplace, couches, and chairs; and a washer and dryer area in the garage. There is a big tree in the backyard as well as an organic garden in the front of the house. The house is a 15 minute bike ride to the UC Davis Campus and is located near the Unitrans and Yolo bus lines. The room for rent is $575 per month and is approximately 11' x 10' with a large window facing North and ample closet space. You would be sharing a bathroom with one to two other people, which is located across the hall. Move-in costs include a $575 deposit, last month's rent, and first month's rent. These may be paid incrementally before move-in. Utilities per housemate range anywhere from $15-50 per month for PG&E, $25 per month for the internet and phone, and water, sewer, and garbage are $40-60 per month. The room is available September 1st and housemates are asked to join for a year lease.
