Description

 One fully-furnished bedroom in a private home in West Davis in a two-bedroom house owned by a UCDavis alumnus House to be shared with me - a 56yr old male, currently self-employed woodworker who has workshops in back yard and a machine room in the garage. Ideally, I am looking for an independent and responsible international student who will be respectful of the house and some basic standards of living (cleanliness, its on the quiet side in house and the neighborhood, consideration for shared spaces). The Russell Bike path is one block away and leads right to west campus dorms then into UCD Campus. There's plenty of space in yard for a bike/scooter etc. For someone who doesn't know Davis or UCD well, I am help as needed to orient a little. The room has a decent bed, an oak desk, and dresser, plus a decent size closet. We are about 2 blocks from the Village Homes path and all of their nice gardens. I have many raised beds here for garden projects. I would like to interview/meet potential renters in person or via a zoom or Facetime type arrangement. For the most part, I hope to find a person who is busy with their studies and work, and makes renting the room as simple as possible with as few hassles for me as possible. The ideal start date for the lease/rental for the upcoming school year (2026-2027) would be from Sept 1st forward, but if you are in need of locking down a place before school starts, that may work.
